How can you change a simple configuration of your template into the useful one?

First of all, it depends on what kind of theme you use. If you have a website (or blog) with text ads or referrals hiding in your text- you can confidently choose a theme with one sidebar on the right, so that all the important content and ads will go into the right side of your page.
If you are making a website or blog with a use of mixed ads configuration (referrals, text ads, banners) you can use a theme with one sidebar, on the right, so that you don’t need to worry about filling the content on the left; your basic content (posts, pages,) with textual referrals will go on the left, wile the banner, text ads, and the side bar menu, will go to the right side.
Note: It is always better to place your ads on the upper, easily viewable side.
If you use 2 sidebars with one on left, and another on the right side of your blog.
You’ll need to place the less important widgets (Meta, Calendar, etc) on the left, and again place your ads on the right. Don’t worry it’s quite easy; I had the same problem, when I used such Template first time.
When you need to attract or make important any part of your blog, color plays its own role.

I will describe it, in my next post. > Make More Money Use Colour Psychology
