Why do we need to know about color psychology?

First of all color is a signal, which is always effecting reader’s decisions on some certain issues.

Do you want to use color to make readers better understand your content?
Do you want to make them follow certain steps?
Do you want to make money eventually?

If Yes! Than the Psychology of Color is a great tool for that.

There is a wide range of explanations for every single color, some of them are affecting only specific category of people, or people from specific geographical location, but there are always some basic rules for all of the population. We will use this to create our successful and money making blogs /websites/.

Black is a color usually associated with something dark sometimes evil, but most often in the web sphere it is used to create a sense of power. Basically it is considered that black is rarely profiting for pure commercial websites or blogs, but we’ve seen a better effect on more artistic, or half artistic- half commercial websites and blogs.
Black is considered to be a masculine color.

White color – of purity, white reflecting all the other tone, it’s a most unique color. We can use white to create space, highlight special areas, parts, etc. it is also associated with security, hope, and cleanliness.
White creates a good platform for commercial and non-commercial Blogs or websites when using it with other useful variations.

Red color is strong and signalling, creating a sense of attention, and importance. Quite good example for red is a Stop Sign. It might be a bit critical, or shocking color in some cases, Red also creates a sense of warmth and love.
Basically used in affiliate marketing when a quick decision must be made.

Blue color is associated with confidence, calmness, men, wisdom… Etc; the researches show us that blue is favourite color for most people. It’s definitely one of the effective tone to use in text advertisement, link advertisement, design of your blog, it creates a feeling of calmness. Also most researches show that people are more productive in blue spaces and spend more time in blue environment.
Having a Very Good effect in weight loss related blogs or websites.

Note: Never use blue in food related blogs or websites.

Green color – of nature, is widely used in money making blogs or websites, of course, because it is associated with $money Dollars. Also Green has a very good effect on people’s eyes, often increasing the reading ability.
Best Effects in: Wedding related websites, Money Making, and Gardening.
General Associations: fertility, good luck, and health.

Yellow: is associated with warm, natural environment, but using Yellow for you blog’s (web site’s) background is not very useful. People tend to get tired when looking at a constant Yellow color for a while.
At the same time Yellow is associated with joy, sun, wealth, and friendship. Using Yellow to get attention is very useful.

Purple color some times seems artificial, but the feminine effect creates its own structure. So if you have a blog or a website about women, or for women, purple and pink have a great effect on your visitors… Also purple is associated with wisdom and spirituality.

Brown color – of earth or ground, very useful in wood, and leather related blogs and websites.
Sometimes the worm brown color, associates with sadness and isolation.

Orange color, also associated with warmth, with an energetic effect on your visitors. It is also used widely for getting attention and for highlighting advertisements.

Pink color associated with love and romance, and it has a great calming effect.
Best to use in love, romance, and mystery related blogs and websites.
